A Note from Pastor Rick

A Word From Pastor Rick

Dear Friend,

There are many people in the world who want to live righteous and respectable lives. Christians don’t have a corner on wanting to do good.

But we do understand why we all stumble, even as we try to live lives of extraordinary virtue: without Jesus every one of us falls short.

The truth is, you can’t have Christlike character without the hope that comes from Jesus. We learn about that hope through God’s Word. That’s why I’m so grateful for your generosity to share that good news through our ministry together. You are helping others to learn God’s Word and find the strength and the power to live lives that are pleasing to God.

Because of friends like you, people are hearing this wisdom: “Do not be shaped by this world; instead be changed within by a new way of thinking” (Romans 12:2 NCV).

For example, Mary from Uganda recently wrote:

“What I learn from your messages is that in every situation in our life, we need to invite God to intervene because he is our Shepherd. You teach us that worry is unbelief and not trusting God can meet our needs. God says we are his children, and he promises always to be by our side. Thank you!”

But that thanks from Mary really belongs to you. Your generosity, sacrifice and prayers help reach people like Mary through Daily Hope so she can trust God as her good Shepherd.

You are such a blessing, and I thank God for you.
