John spent decades searching for life, meaning, and hope. And thanks to support from friends like you, God met him in his search through the teaching and resources of Daily Hope.
Take a look . . .
“My dream as a kid was to play professional football. But I lost that dream when I started using drugs and alcohol. I quit school and became an angry young man who spent all his time fighting, drugging, and drinking. I always felt a void in my life and then one day I realized that void was in my heart.
I was not the man God wanted me to be. . .
As a kid, I remember looking up to my grandpa and uncle. They had this calmness and understanding about them. You would often see them sitting alone reading their Bibles, and you could sense the love in their hearts. This sweet spirit surrounded them, and I always said that they were the kind of men I wanted to be like when I grew up.
Well, now I’m 60 years old, and in my prayer time one morning God spoke to me plain as day and said, ‘Ask me to help you become that humble man, you must be willing to endure what it takes.’
I just wanted to tell you that God has been using your devotions to help me become that humble man of God . . . to become more like Jesus.
Your daily devotions have helped change my life and transform me into the man of God that I have been searching for 59 years. Thank you!”
Thank you for your support to help change lives like John’s with the truth of God’s Word and the transforming power of his love. You make Daily Hope possible, and we thank God for you!
