A Note from Pastor Rick

A Note From Pastor Rick

Dear Friend,

Nothing on earth is perfect—except the truth of God’s Word. It’s the only thing we can count on! The Bible tells us, “As for God, his way is perfect: The LORD’s word is flawless” (Psalm 18:30 NIV).

Everything else is broken by sin. The weather is broken. Nations are broken. The economy is broken. Your body is broken. Relationships are broken.

That’s why we pray, “Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven” (Matthew 6:10 NIV). In heaven, everything broken has been made right and God’s will is done perfectly. But his will is rarely done on earth.

Life on earth always involves pain, but learning to live with purpose in that pain grows our faith—something the heroes of faith in Hebrews 11 understood. Even though they experienced great suffering, they fought their battles well and “trusted God . . . that they would rise to a better life afterwards” (Hebrews 11:35 TLB).

For the believer, life is still hard. But because of the Bible, we know this life is not all we were made for. The best is yet to come!

I’d love to hear about how God is using Daily Hope to remind you throughout life’s twists and turns that you can count on God’s Word. So please, keep reaching out! You can write to me at Rick@PastorRick.com. Thank you again for your prayers and support for Daily Hope.
